Background

Sándor Szabó was born on April 16, 1954 in Karcag, Hungary. He arrived in Bahrain in 1992.

Education

Sandor received Doctor of Philosophy at Eötvös University, Budapest, Hungary, in 1980. Then he earned Doctor of Science at Hungarian Academy of Science in 1995.

Career

In 1978-1992 Sador was the member of faculty at Technology University in Budapest,. Then he was appointed the member of faculty at University of Bahrain in 1992-1996. Since 1996 he is the member of faculty at College Health Science in Manama, Bahrain.

Sador also worked as a visiting professor at University of Dundee, United Kingdom, in 1987-1988, at University of California in Davis in 1989-1990, and at University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, in 1990-1991.

Achievements

• In 1998 Sador was awarded with the Beckenbach Book prize by Mathematics American Association.
