Career
Because Yoshitoyo, son of Sanetaka's elder brother, was young. Sanetaka acted as the head of the Satomi family.
In 1525 and 1526, he led a large force across the sea and attacked Miura Peninsula in Sagami Province (Kanagawa Prefecture) and defeated Ujitsuna Hojo.
Sanetaka did not turn over the leadership of the Satomi family to Yoshitoyo even after he had grown up. He was attacked and killed by Yoshitoyo in Inamura Castle (1533).
