CHALKY'S RULES is a blueprint of how a beautiful woman gets away with a series of murders but it is also a story of love and betrayal, of treachery and revenge, and the sequence of events that alter three young women's lives. CHLOE. Glynis Sue Waters is a throw away child, and she has always been alone. Still a teenager, she is more alone than ever when her infant daughter dies in a nearby hospital. But Chalky Moran is also there because a drunk driver has killed his daughter, his only child, who was Glynis' age. Suffering the same despair, Chalky is the epitome of kindness and caring, something Glynis has longed for all her life. Seeking a new start, she accompanies Chalky to New York. She doesn't know anything about him, except he respects and treats her as if she is his daughter, and his lifestyle is that of a very wealthy man. In New York, Chalky changes her name to Chloe Moran and, under his tutelage, no one would suspect she has not always been a child of wealth and privilege. And no one is more pleased with Chloe's transformation than Chalky for her behavior is that of an adult, rational instead of emotional, cautious instead of impulsive, and completely reliable. Not only are those attributes ones Chalky most admires but they also fit perfectly into his plans for Chloe. On a visit to Los Angeles, Chloe finally learns what Chalky does for a living. Terrified to discover it includes murder, she is also aware that knowledge will either destroy the love and trust between them or it will unite them forever. But Chloe is not only grateful for Chalky's love and trust, she is also fiercely loyal, and the bond between them proves stronger than any crisis of conscience. When Chalky is convicted on criminal conspiracy charges, and imprisoned for life, it is Chloe's responsibility to keep him safe by honoring CHALKY'S RULES. VICTORIA. A New York attorney, Victoria has broken up with Alex, and taken a sabbatical from the firm where she worked. She too wants a new start but Alex is in financial trouble, and not only physically attacks her, he also steals jewelry she inherited. Victoria hires Slim, a former colleague and private detective to find her jewelry but, on the night he plans to retrieve it from Alex, Alex and Gruet, a con man who promised Alex he would buy the gems, are both murdered. Aware Gruet has long been a target of mobsters, when Slim catches a glimpse of Alex and Gruet's killer, he realizes the legend of Chloe is true. But it is also true associates of other men she has killed will pay a million dollar reward to identify and capture her. More than anything, Slim wants the reward money. And, if in the process of trying to get it, Victoria becomes the primary suspect in Chloe's most sensational double murder, so be it. LAKE. A true golden girl, Lake is as intelligent as she is beautiful and when Alex pursues her, she is flattered but skeptical enough to keep him at a distance. When her father dies, she returns home, seeking solace from the grandmother who raised her. But during her visit, the pair finds an abandoned baby, and Lake learns that life can be unpredictable but it also has many new beginnings.

(For Spoonbill, leader of one of Mexico's most powerful dr...)
For Spoonbill, leader of one of Mexico's most powerful drug cartels, standard operating procedure is north with the drugs, and south with the money. But Whitney Dietz designed Spoonbill's many MONEY TRUCK routes, and he has a masterful plan for hijacking the truck transporting $50 million to Mexico. Hijacking THE MONEY TRUCK should be a piece of cake for Whitney but Kachina, the only story editor to ever express interest in his autobiographical screenplay, is viciously attacked and, within days, fired from her job. Mystified by these horrific events, Kachina and Whitney soon learn the film producers for whom she worked have stolen Whitney's screenplay, intend to produce it and, since only she knows its origin, want her out of the way. Whitney is flattered by the theft but outraged by the producer's shamelessness. He decides to stop the film's production while simultaneously hijacking THE MONEY TRUCK. But complicating his dual schemes is Pearl, one of the many women he has seduced and abandoned. THE MONEY TRUCK is a multilevel story of greed, murder, malice, and revenge as experienced by a concoction of the virtuous and a band of dedicated psychopaths, each playing by their own rules, all unaware as to the laws of retribution.
