Career
Since 2005, he has been the principal clarinetist of the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra. Prior to that, he had been the second clarinetist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Originally from Virginia, he received his musical education at New England Conservatory in Boston, Massachusetts where he was a student of Harold Wright.
He is also the Director of the Missouri Chamber Music Festival.
