Scott Richard Salvatore, American Ecologist. Achievements include work on the American Shad Restoration Project designed to restore shad to the Susquehanna River basin; research was used to force power companies on the lower river to put fish passage devices at each of their dams. Recipient Citizenship award B'nai Brith, Lewistown, 1978.
