Shin, See-Ok was born on December 11, 1956 in Busan, Republic of Korea. Son of Ki-Hong Shin and Kyoung-Phil Lee.

Resident Seoul (Republic of Korea) National University Hospital, 1984-1988. Lecturer Gyeongsang National University College Medicine, Jinju, Kyungnam, Republic of Korea, 1988-1989. Assistant professor otolaryngology Chungbuk National University College Medicine, Cheongju, Republic of Korea, 1990-1994, associate professor Republic of Korea, 1994-1999, professor Republic of Korea, since 2000.
