Seiichi Wakuri graduated from Tokyo Foreign Language School in 1936.

Career

Seiichi Wakuri served as professor of Army Staff College (from 1943) until the end of the war. He became professor of Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in 1949. Held additional posts as lecturer of Waseda University and Куoіku (Education) University.

Translated Sleptsov's "Trundnoe Vremya" (Difficult Age), Gorki's "Literature" and "Literary Comfort" and Belinski's "Letters to Gogol".
