Senkaku was a waka poet. Lived at least until 1273, the year of his death is unknown.

Senkaku was born in around 1260.
Career
He was a Buddhist priest at the Shin-Shakado Temple in Kamakura. He later moved to Hiki District in Musashi Province. He wrote Senkakusho, a book of commentaries on the Manyoshu Anthology, which was dedicated to ex-Emperor Gosaga. The book is the oldest commentaries on the anthology.
