Until October 1956 Head, 3rd European Deputy, USSR Minister of Foreign Affairs. 1956 - June 1960 USSR Ambassador to Austria. 1960 First Deputy Chairman, State Committee Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, USSR Council of Ministers.
1960 headed USSR delegation at opening of 11th General UNESCO Conference. 1961 member, Soviet delegation India. 1961 member, USSR delegation at 2nd part of 15th session of United Nations General Assembly.
