Petrosyan Sergey Lvovich was born on September 16, 1948 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
He graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry of the Voronezh State Medical Institute in 1971, the Faculty of Law of the Voronezh State University in 1985, the Voronezh Polytechnic Institute with a degree in systems engineering in 1991.
He was a chief physician of the dental clinic in Voronezh in1980-1989. Since 1989 he was the initiator of the creation of the Voronezh Regional Clinical Consultation of the Diagnostic Center where he was the head physician. At the same time, he was the Head of the Department of Social and Medical Management of Voronezh State Technical University in 1997-1999 and the head of functional studies with radiology and ultrasound diagnostics of the Voronezh State Medical Academy (since 1999).
He is the author of more than 220 scientific papers, including such books as “Innovation Management: Peculiarities of the Social Aspect” (Voronezh, 2001; in collaboration with others), “Economics and Sociology of Labor” (Voronezh, 2003; in collaboration with others), “Management: Fundamentals of Organization Management "(Voronezh, 2005; in collaboration with others). He was one of the initiators of the introduction of modern approaches to scientific management in the practice of health care.
