Nikolai Odnoralov was born on December 2, 1897 in Novocherkassk, the Rostov Region, Russian Federation.
In 1923, Nikolai Ivanovich graduated from the faculty of medicine of the Rostov State University.
In 1923-1933, Nikolai Odnoralov worked as an Assistant Professor of the anatomy chair at the Rostov State University. In 1933-1940, he was in charge of the General anatomy Department and director of the Institute of Dagestan Medical University. Since 1940, Nikolai Odnoralov was chairman of the General anatomy Department.
In 1954, he was invited to take a position as the principal of the Voronezh State Medical University and was in office till 1963. His major achievement is the development of the technique of nerve impregnation with nitric silver using the flow of direct current. Among his books is "Muscles topography" published in Chita in 1965.
