Sergey Vladimirovich was the soloist of the ensemble of the Voronezh Military District (1954-1959), song and dance ensemble of the Baltic Navy (1951-1961, Kaliningrad), State Dance Ensemble of the Byelorussian SSR (1961-1962, Minsk), ballet soloist and assistant to the main choreographer of the Siberia State Dance Ensemble (1963-1968, Krasnoyarsk), soloist of the Siberian Folk Choir (1969-1970, Novosibirsk), choreographer of the Amur Folk Choir, organizer of the choreography department of the regional cultural and educational school (1970-1973, the city of Blagoveshchensk, Amur Region), choreographer of Regional Philharmonic Society, the founder of the ensemble "Russia" (1973-1976, Vladimir), chief choreographer of the Sakhalin choir (1979-1982, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk city). One of the founders of the Voronezh Association of Choreographers "Terpsichore", the organizer of the traditional festivals "Protect the Beauty of Russian Dance". The head of the Voronezh ensemble "Rus" of the House of Culture named after Karl Marx (1976-1979, 1982-1986), the "Rodina" ensemble and the children's ensemble "Topotuha" of the 50th Anniversary of the House of Culture, which became the laureate of the All-Russian Dance Festival (1989, Anapa).

In 1997, Sergey Vladimirovich created the dance ensemble "We are Voronezh" at the Palace of Culture and Sports of OAO "Voronezhshina", which became the laureate of the All-Russian competition of children's choreographic groups "Hello, World" (1999, Taganrog), the regional festival of folk dance (2001, Tambov), All-Russian Dance Festival for the prize of V.M. Zakharov (2001, Kirov), IXth International Festival-Competition "Windrose" (2003, Moscow) and many other festivals and competitions.
