Career
He played than from 2004 until 2009 alongside his club career in the high school, soccer for the Northwestern Trojans, the athletic soccer team of the Northwestern High school Rock Hill, before went for his college soccer career at the College of Charleston between 2009 and 2012. While still finishing his college degree, Ferguson signed with USL Professional Division club Charleston Battery on April 3, 2013. During the 2014 season Ferguson became a first-choice starter in central defense alongside Colin Falvey.
In the 2015 season Ferguson started 27 of 28 league matches and was voted the club"s defender of year by fans as well as being named a First Team All-USL selection by the league.
