Caruana and Langan, P.A. was originally founded in 1983 by Albert G. Caruana, an experienced trial attorney, commercial litigator and family law and marital lawyer, and a former litigation partner in Greenberg, Traurig.
In 1992, Elena B. Langan, a family law, matrimonial and trial attorney, became a member after an association with Melvyn Frumkes.
In 1996 Dirk Lorenzen became a member of the firm. Mr. Lorenzen holds a Doctor of Philosophy in clinical psychology, and previously was associated with Rubin, Baum and Squires Sanders & Dempsey, where he practiced commercial litigation, health care and family law.
In 1996, Stephen Mendelsohn became a member of the firm after tenures with Meltzer, Lippe in New York and the New York State Attorney General, where he served as a trial attorney, commercial litigator and bankruptcy attorney. Susan Greenberg recently joined the firm after practicing with a medium-sized New Jersey Firm.
