Shi-liang Shen was a Chinese educationist and promoter of physical training.


He was born in Ningpo, Chekiang, China in 1897.


Mr. Shen attended St. John's University, Shanghai, China from 1911 till 1919, Oberlin College, Ohio, U.S.A. from 1920 till 1921 and Columbia University from 1929 till 1930.


Shi-liang Shen was honorary general secretary of China National Amateur Athletic Federation since 1921, honorary secretary of Far-Eastern Athletic Association from 1925 till 1927.

He took positions of physical director in St. John's University from 1919 till 1928, dean of St. John's University since 1928 and vice-president of St. John's University since 1929.
