Graduated from Tokyo University of Commerce (1923).
Career
Appointed professor of Kobe Higher Commercial School (1928), professor of Kobe University of Commerce (1934) and professor of Kobe University of Economics (1941) and thereafter became professor of Kobe University (since 1949) and director of Keizai Keiei Kenkyujo (Economic Management Research Institute) of the same university (since 1951).
