Shichiroku Nomura was born in 1893 in Aomori Prefecture, Japan.

Education

In 1917 Shichiroku Nomura graduated from Tokyo University.

Career

Shichiroku Nomura served as instructor of First Higher School and assistant professor of Tohoku University and thereafter was appointed professor of Tohoku University in 1938. In 1953 he became director of Asamushi Marine Laboratory of Tohoku University.

Achievements

• Shichiroku Nomura received Education Ministry's Subsidy for researches on "Physiology and Ecology of Marine Life," "Physical and Chemical Problems of Organisms and other subjects."
