Shigekuni Ujiie began his career in the army and later as recognized for his ability. While trying to raise money for Kentaro he broke into the Senjuin Temple was arrested and thrown into prison. Upon release he became a professional wrestler and went to China and died there.

Shigekuni Ujiie was a man of great strength excelling in fencing and shooting. He was also well versed in Chinese poetry.
