Shigeo Nojiri served as lecturer and then professor at Tokyo Higher Normal School and then became professor of Agriculture & Forestry & Economics Department of Tokyo University of Education (since 1950). Held additional posts of director of Toho Gakuen (Academy) (from 1951), councilor of Kanto Branch of National University and College Professors' League and director of the elementary school attached to Tokyo University of Education.
