Mr. Wang educated in Soochow High School and Soochow University. He also graduated from the complete stenographical course of I.C.S., and studied French in Peking.
Shih-chung Wang joined the Chinese Postal Service and held the following posts in 1912-1918: postmaster of Hushu (Nanking) and Linhuaikwan (North Anhui), assistant accountant in Anking and general assistant in the Directorate-General of Posts in Peking, China.
After resigning from the Postal Service, he joined the Salt Service at Peking in 1918, became registrar in 1918-1923, chief staff assistant in 1923-1929 and assistant district inspector in Talifu, Yunnan, China in 1929.
