Shih-yi Wang was a Chinese army officer.


He was born in Hochao, Shantung, China in 1897.


Mr. Wang received his military education at the Higher Military Training School in Shantung, China.


Shih-yi Wang first served as regiment and brigade commander. Later he became commander of the 2nd Division, Garrison commander of West Shantung and concurrently Commander of the Min-tuan or People's Army and vice-Commander of the First Cavalry Division of the Nationalist Revolutionary Army.
