Shiino Shobe was a Japanese businessman. He exported textiles early in the Meiji Era and made a great fortune.

Shiino Shobe was born in 1839 in Kanagawa, Japan.
Career
Shiino's establishment was well known as Ono-Sho. After an inspection tour abroad he expanded his business and set up mills in Yokohama and elsewhere for manufacture of silk handkerchiefs for export. Also Shiino developed export trade of necktie, shawl, embroidery and other textile manufactures. He contributed much to the development of embroidery in Japan.
