Shimpachiro Matsumoto

Background

Shimpachiro was born in 1913, in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture, Japan.

Education

Following graduation from Tokyo University entered the Institute of Compilation of Historical Materials of the same university in 1937.

Career

After the war served successively as professor of Matsuyama Higher School and instructor of Tokyo Metropolitan University. Presently serves as a member of Democratic Scientists' Society.
