Education
Shindo Tsuboi studied the Dutch system of medicine under Shinsai Udagawa at Edo to become physician to Lord of Hagi (Yamaguchi Prefecture).
Career
Is ranked with Gemboku Ito and Seikai Totsuka as the greatest physicians during the Edo Period. Among his disciples were Shiisuke Aoki, Koan Ogata, Seikei Sugita. Is the author of several medical books.
