Shinjuru Konoike had to leave Keio University without graduating due to illness (1888).
Career
Later together with his brother, Zen-emon XII, Shinjuru Konoike founded the Konoike Bank and became its auditor (1898). Converted the family's private warehousing business into a joint stock company under the name Osaka Soko Co., Ltd. (1907).
