Shinno Yoshihito (Originally named Ake-no-Miya) was born in 1713 in Japan. He was the 17th son of Emperor Reigen.

Shinno Yoshihito (Originally named Ake-no-Miya) was born in 1713 in Japan. He was the 17th son of Emperor Reigen.
Is best remembered as a waka poet and a calligrapher, on which subjects he had many pupils. Later taught poetry to Emperors Momozono and Gosakuramaehi. He founded the Arisugawa school of calligraphy.
