Education
He graduated from Doshisha University in 1927.
Career
After graduating from Doshisha University (1927) he was appointed assistant professor to eventually become professor (1939) and ultimately dean of its Faculty of Law (1942). Later he became president of the university besides being instructor at Kyoto University, Osaka Commercial and Ritsumeikan colleges.
He was conferred a doctorate (1950) and was reappointed president of Doshisha University (1952). After the war he was deeply influenced by the ideals of Dr. Soichi Sasaki, and is noted for his views regarding the protection of the peace constitution. He was a member of the Higher Civil Service Examination Board (Kobun), and of the Kyoto Pubhc Safetv Commission.
Among his works are "Fundamental Problems of Politics", "Fundamental Problems of the Constitution", "Constitution Laws" and "Politics of War and Peace".
