Background
Shinro Matsuo, M.D., Ph.D., is a physical, and internal medicine doctor, who serves as an Associate Professor Kanazawa University Graduate School of Advanced Preventive Medical Sciences, and at the Department of Nuclear Medicine, Kanazawa University Hospital, Graduate School of Medical Science, Kanazawa University. He works as a research chief in nuclear cardiology and preventive medicine. He has written over 100 articles, book chapters, and abstracts, serves on several editorial boards, and reviews manuscripts for several leading medical journals. He is a Certified Member of the Japanese society of Internal Medicine and of PET JSNM and serves as a Fellow of the Japanese College of Cardiology (FJCC), of the Japanese Circulation Society (FJCS), and of Japanese Society of Nuclear Medicine. He is a graduate of Shiga University of Medical Science and was a resident of internal medicine at the Shiga University of Medical Science (SUMS). He completed clinical and research fellowships in cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology at SUMS to become an Assistant Professor at the Cardiology Department of SUMS. He completed his residency in Nagahama City Hospital. He completed a fellowship in cardiology at Koga Public Hospital. He has been serving as a Guest Lecturer in a wide variety of topics related to cardiovascular disease with a focus on the areas of nuclear cardiology, preventive cardiology, and cardiomyopathy. He got award of Japanese Society of Nuclear Medicine on Oct 2012, an award of Japanese Society of Nuclear Cardiology on June 2008, a grand prize for the 1st Asian Youth Tearching Competition of Nuclear Medicine Practice in English on July 2016, Asian Society of Cardiac Imaging Best Oral Presentation Award on Jun 2017, etc.
