Career
Takahashi Shinzo joined the editorial staff of Osaka Mainichi Shimbun (newspaper), and became chief of its economic desk and then chief editorial adviser (1951). Prior to the inauguration of private broadcasting system in Japan, was sent to U.S.A. to study commercial broadcasting and upon return helped in the founding of Shin Nippon Hoso (New Japan Broadcasting Corporation) and became its first managing director.
