In 1952, Graves married Gordon Lyle Ness, with whom she divorced in 1960. They have two children - Gordon Lyle Graves and Merry Lee Ness (Graves) Alberigi. On August 6, 1966 she married Jefferson James Graves. They have two children - Roberta Jean Graves and Courtney Rae Graves.
