Career
Entered Yo-miuri Shi-mbun (newspaper) (1930) and became vice-chief of Social Department (1942), chief of Research and Social Departments, vice-chief of Editorial Office and chief of Planning & Research Bureau. Resigned Yomiuri Shimbun and became president of Hochi Shimbun (1951).
