He graduated from Biological Chemistry Department of Tokyo University in 1922.
Career
Shō Miyamoto became assistant professor at Medical Department of his alma mater in 1924. Went to Germany for study in 1935. Served at Jakarta Medical College in Java from 1943. Appointed lecturer at Tokyo Medical & Dental University and professor and dean of Medical Department of Tokyo Ika Shika Semmon Gakko (Tokyo Medical & Dental College) in 1947 and promoted to of Tokyo Medical & Dental University in 1949. Appointed to the additional post of professor at Dental Department of the same university.
