Shoha Kurizaki was born in 1661. He was the son of Doyu Kurizaki of Nagasaki and the grandson of Doki Kurizaki.

Shoha Kurizaki studied medicine under his father.
Career
Shoha Kurizaki was appointed surgeon to Tokugawa Shogunate. Later in 1691 he set up a private practice. Attended Yoshinaka Kira at Edo Castle when he was wounded by Naganori Asano in 1701.
