Career
Shoichi Kawaguchi entered Yokohama Branch of Shin-ei Raw Silk Store (1917). He began operating Kawaguchi Store (1931) and later assumed the above post. Shoichi Kawaguchi was hold additional posts of chairman of Yokohama Raw Silk Wholesale Merchants' Association, vice-director of Yokohama Raw Silk Exchange and director of Yokohama Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
