Achievements

• In the general election held in 1972, he took Indian National Congress"s ticket from Pilibhit Constituency and won the seat with 38.96% votes and defeated his nearest contestant who was from Indian National Congress and received only 29.37% votes.

Membership

He actively worked for various posts and as a member of various commettees. He was elected as second Member of Parliament from Pilibhit Constituency with 50.54% votes on Praja Socialist Party"s Ticket and defeated his rival contender who was from Indian National Congress and received 34.86% votes in the general election held in 1957. He was elected again as third Member of Parliament from Pilibhit Constituency with 29.62% votes on Praja Socialist Party"s Ticket and defeated his rival contender who was from Indian National Congress and received 27.42% votes in the general election held in 1962.

Foreign the general election held in 1967, He was elected again as fourth Member of Parliament from Pilibhit Constituency with 28.24% votes on Praja Socialist Party"s Ticket and defeated his rival contender who was from Indian National Congress and received 24.26% votes.
