Career
1910 first work printed. Wrote studies of Shakespeare, Shaw, Chekhov and Ostrovskiy, also wrote original philosophical novellae and essays. Translated Shaw, Mickiewicz Tuvim, Zheromskiy, et cetera
Wrote several plays, opera librettos and stage adaptations, including Tot tretiy (The Third One), Suvorov, Kola Bryun’yon and Chelovek, kotoryy by l chetvfrgbm (The Manitoba Who Was Thursday). Wrote scripts for films. Prazdnik svyatogo Yorgena (The Feast of Street Jorgen) (1930).
