Bachelor of Arts, Franklin and Marshall College, 1861, Master of Arts, 1864 (Doctor of Philosophy, 1887). Doctor of Divinity.S., Pennsylvania College Dental Surgery, 1865. (honorary Doctor ol Dental Surgery, Philadelphia Dental College, 1884).

Career

Served private Company East, 127th Pennsylvania Volumes, 1862-1863. Engaged in battles of Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville. Practiced dentistry, Lebanon, Pennsylvania, 1865-1872, Philadelphia, since 1872.

Professor operative and prosthetic dentistry and orthodontia, since 1881, dean, 1895-1905 and since 1908, Philadelphia Dental College.
