This book offers an excellent collection of more than 40 different hand alphabet charts for the deaf from Argentina to Yugoslavia the International Hand Alphabet and 5 different hand alphabet charts for the Deaf-Blind. It features over 80 drawings and illustrations with brief explanations and historical notes. The oldest illustrations of the 16th-19th century manual alphabet charts are included among them are the first Spanish hand alphabet 1593 and the first British two-handed alphabet 1698. Dr. Simon J.
