Career
A recipient of the Stephen Lawrence in 2008, Simone was one of the first London based beneficiaries to start their own architectural practice. Simone de Gale is most known for participating in the conception of the Hammersmith Flyunder Feasibility project for the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham with CH2M Hill Halcrow. Simone de Gale is the inventor of a materials processing technique which increases the energy absorption capability of a material when subjected to blast.
The patent pending technology has been developed with the support of the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence.
Simone currently lives in London. Simone trained at the Architectural Association School of Architecture, the University of Westminster and University of East London.
She worked with the Westfield Group and RMJM before setting up Simone de Gale Architects in 2009.
