Background
No dates are available of him though he is said to have lived during the Eiroku Era. Was originally a retainer of Kiyoyoshi Dol and castellan of Tatema I in Iyo (Ehime Prefecture).
Nobuhiro Sato, the great agriculturist of the Edo Period, was deeply influenced by him. He is considered the father of agricultural science in Japan.
