Graduated from Tokyo Higher Commercial School (1906).
Career
Entered Tokyo Gas Company and became chief of its General Affairs and Accounting sections and then manager (1931). Served then as director of Tokyo Cokes Company and president of Asahi Kokii Kogyo Kaisha (Asahi Aeronautical Industry Company) and Asahi Water Works Company and thereafter became president of Nihon Eternit Pipe Manufacturing Company.
Meantime held additional posts of president of Teikoku New Fume Steel Pipe Company and Kanemoto Gold line Company, chairman of Kyowa Chemical Industry company.
