In October 2012 he was named in the Chiefs squad for the 2013 Super Rugby season.
Achievements
Domestically, he plays for the Wellington Lions in the Information Technology Management Cup. Sakalia was a member of the New Zealand Under 20 side which won the 2011 Institutional Review Board Junior World Championship.
