Jonson, Sondra Lenore was born on December 28, 1954 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. Daughter of George T. and Norma S. Wohl.

Education

Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bryn Mawr College, Pennsylvania, 1975. Certified in Sculpture, Frudakis Academy Art, Philadelphia, 1978.

Career

Instructor drawing and sculpture University Nevada, Las Vegas, 1987—1994. Art workshop teacher Las Vegas Art Museum, 1989—1993. Mural designer/coordinator Children's Mural Project, Las Vegas, 1989—1994.

Artist-in-residence Nebraska Arts Council, Omaha, since 1996. Sculptor S.L. Jonson Studios, Las Vegas and Cambridge, since 1985. Lecturer, judge McCook College, Nebraska, 2004.

Lecturer on Sacred Art Eucharistic Congress, Washington, 2004.
