Harry Baron was born on January 21, 1944, in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Harry Baron was educated in Academy of Arts in Berlin.
Harry Baron started his career as a painter. His first one-man show took place in 1962. Since 1967 he devoted himself to sculpture.
Harry Baron served as the head of the sculpture department at the Avni Institute of Fine Arts in Tel Aviv, director of the Israel Sculpture Studio, and professor of sculpture at Academy of Arts in Berlin.
Harry Baron worked as an Outdoor sculptor and used wood, aluminum, bronze, and stone as materials in his works. In these works, he generally tries to describe a single man who exhibits a dual structure between Israel and the outside world.
Harry Baron participated in many one-man shows in Israel and abroad, and later exhibited with the distinguished painter Juan Miro in Germany and France.
Harry Baron made many sculptures in public places in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Berlin, Bremen, Tokyo, and various cities in the USA. He participated in the "Outdoor Sculpture" Exhibition, organized by the World Congress of International Architects in Hamburg in 1983.
Harry Baron is an initiator, founder and member of "Round Table" in Israel.
