Career
After graduating from Tokyo Academy of Music proceeded to National School of Music, Vienna, for further studies and won first prize at the International Music Concours there (1932). Her career was interrupted for awhile due to illness, but she returned to the stage (1951). Her favorite renditions are from the music of Beethoven and Brahms.
