Research scientist Korea Institute Machinery and Metals, Changwon, Republic of Korea, 1979—1982, senior research scientist, 1988—1991. From assistant to associate professor Hongik University, Seoul, 1991—1996. From associate to full professor Korea University, since 1996.

Head Computer-aided Design/The Communications Advertising and Marketing laboratory Korea Institute Machinery and Metals, Changwon, 1990—1991. Department chairman Korea University, Seoul, 1999—2001.
