Career
Sotokichi Suhara became chief director of Hokkaido Sheet Glass Wholesale Merchants' Union (1942), chief director of Hokkaido Sheet Glass Rationing & Control Union and Hokkaido Hardware Merchants' Cooperative Union (1944), director of Toko Shoji Kaisha (Toko Trading Company) (1947) and chief director of Hokkaido Securities Exchange and auditor of Hokkaido Bank (1951) and thereafter became president of Suhara Shoten Company and chairman of Daito Sangyo Kaisha (Daito Industrial Company).
