Quotations:
"Although it seems strange, scientific writing is a process that comes, at least partially, from the subconscious, a fact that is widely accepted for belletristic. Science, too, needs inspiration, fantasy, and new ideas. Of course, a new scientific idea requires a lot of subsequent work in libraries, laboratories, and contact with colleagues. Nonetheless, the idea is the most valuable thing of all. Many creative ideas are not bom in the office, but at places like rest rooms, swimming pools, or the garden. For example, the idea for the plant uptake model arose in an old Jewish graveyard that I visited in 1989."
"Most of the time writing is hard work, but it is easy when there is a frenzy of enthusiasm. An idea may come unexpectedly or after several months of thinking. It is important always to keep your mind open and listen to yourself."
