Stephen Isabalija

Career
He currently serves as the Vice Chancellor of Victoria University Uganda, a private, for-profit university owned by the Ruparelia Group, a business conglomerate in East Africa. He has served in that capacity since September 2013. Starting in 2005, Stephen Isabalija has been an Assistant Lecturer and then Lecturer at Makerere University Business School (MUBS).
Besides his responsibilities at Victoria University, Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited and Uganda Development Bank, he sits on the Boards of (a) Dynamic Group, where he is the Chairman (b) Information and communications technology University Foundation (c) Christian Discipleship Ministries International (d) Information and communications technology Centre, Makerere University Business School and (e) Uganda Women's Entrepreneurship Association, where he is a Delegate.
Doctor Stephen Isabalija is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited (UEGCL). He also sits on the Board of Directors of Uganda Development Bank (UDB).
He is a married father.
