Career
He owns Steve Kirk People’s Studios in Oakland, California. Kirk has composed and played guitar for the Club Foot Orchestra, which created original soundtracks for classic silent films, including Sherlock, Junior, Nosferatu and Pandora"s Box, as well as the score for the animated series The Twisted Tales of Felix the Cat. Born in 1957 in San Diego, California, Kirk has resided in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 26 years.
He teaches guitar, bass, and composition at the Blue Bear School of Music and the Community Music Center, both in San Francisco, California.
